Two corporations, one in Sweden and one in the U.S., are working together to provide solutions to problems in cleanup of toxic and harmful materials. Pullman-Holt Corporation, USA and Pullman Ermator, Sweden have established a joint venture called Pullman Ermator LLC. This new company combines the strengths of two leaders in the manufacture of HEPA vacuums and dust extractors used in the abatement, restoration, remediation and construction industries.

Pullman-Holt Corporation is a leading manufacturer and distributor of powered floor care equipment and HEPA Vacuums, serving the Jan/San and Safety/Industrial markets. The Company also supplies the Paper, Hardware, Rental, Export and Government markets. As a 72-year-old company, the Pullman-Holt brand and distribution system are well established. The Company has earned the reputation for value, quality and innovation in major product categories in both hard floor and carpet care. In addition, Pullman-Holt is recognized as a market leader in the Safety and Environmental Market for HEPA Vacuums that remove lead, asbestos and mold from residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Pullman-Ermator of Sweden
Torbjorn Bengtsson launched a company in Stockholm called Bevaclean as early as 1985. The range included professional vacuum cleaners and cleaning machinery from Italy. The company grew both financially and geographically, and in the 1980’s it began building and selling its own quality dust extractors to professional tradesmen in the concrete/construction industry. With the expanded range of products, the company grew even more, and in 1999 it acquired Pullman Scandinavia, a company that offered a broad range of dust extractors and wet vacuums.
In 2005, the company acquired Miljoburken, expanding the product mix with the addition of portable air cleaners (scrubbers) and gaining access to new markets. In early 2006, Ermator was also acquired. Ermator’s reputation for producing high quality, innovative dust extractors complimented the existing line of products and firmly established the company as a worldwide leader. The new company, called Pullman-Ermator, has operations in Smedjebacken and Gallo and sells to over thirty countries worldwide.
